Niagara Blower (visit site)

  • Wet Surface Air Cooled (WSAC) heat exchangers
  • "No-Frost"® refrigeration / dehumidification system

Niagara "No-Frost" refrigeration systems were patented in the 1930's. There are two primary applications associated with this product line:

No-Frost

Uses:
Spiral Freezers/ Holding Freezers/ Holding Coolers

Benefits:
Spiral freezer

  • Maximize throughput/Output with continuous operation (Spiral freezers).
  • Continuous operation - No defrost required
  • Continuously sanitized coil - No shut down required for sanitizing
  • Continuously sanitized coil - No shut down required for sanitizing
  • Consistent space temperature/airflow
  • Airborne bacteria control
  • Reduced energy usage - Sized to meet the load. No over sizing required to compensate for defrost cycles

Freezer/Cooler

  • Frost/ice free environment. Eliminate breading ground for bacteria
  • Maintain product integrity/quality
  • Improved safety
  • Consistent space temperature/airflow
  • Reduced energy usage

Initial cost of a Niagara "No-Frost" systems is generally higher than traditional (hot-gas defrost) refrigeration systems. Therefore, we sell value that the system provides. The "No-Frost" system will also compliment installations that include (or already have) traditional refrigeration. By strategically placing the Niagara conditioner at the point of moisture infiltration (generally above a door), the Niagara conditioner will increase the efficiency of traditional cooling systems by reducing defrost cycles, thus reducing energy usage.

Liquid Desiccant Dehumidification

Uses: Brewery/ Meat Packaging and Processing

Benefits:

  • Condensation control
  • Asset protection
  • Glycol based desiccant is food grade and non-corrosive
  • Airborne bacteria control
  • Reduced energy usage
  • Ability to handle large moisture loads
  • Quick recovery from wash down cycles
  • Ability to maintain precise room temperature and relative humidities

SRH - Steam Rig Heater
The SRH series of heat-exchanger unit heaters is designed for steam applications where boiler neglect can lead to freeze-up conditions. During an accidental freeze-up the SafeDeform™ core headers are designed to accommodate ice expansion. The SRH Series is designed for pressures up to 100 psi in single-pass configurations only. SRH heaters meet ASME requirements with a CRN.

hazloc heatersHUH - Hydronic Unit Heater
The HUH series of heat-exchanger unit heaters is designed for rugged industrial applications in steam, hot water, glycol or other fluid circulating heating systems. The HUH series is designed for pressures and temperatures up to 400 psi and 550 °F respectively in single-pass and multi-pass core configurations with multi-pass units greatly improving performance characteristics when used with liquids. HUH heaters meet ASME requirements with a CRN.

HHP - Hydronic High Performance Heaters
The HHP series of heat-exchanger unit heaters is designed for the most rugged industrial applications in steam, hot water, glycol or other fluid circulating heating systems. The HHP series is designed for pressures and temperatures up to 450 psi and 550 °F respectively. HHP heaters include our PerformaCore™ high-performance heat-exchanger cores that are available in 5/8 in. O.D. 14-gauge (0.083 in.) fin tube with single-pass (for steam or fluids) and multi-pass configurations (for fluids only) to meet your specific requirements.HHP heaters meet ASME requirements with a CRN.
